Job Overview:
Defcon Innovations is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to manage and automate our infrastructure, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and optimize deployment processes. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and security of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ CI/CD Automation: Design, implement, and maintain robust Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
✅ Infrastructure Management: Build and manage cloud-based and on-premises infrastructure using tools like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
✅ Configuration Management: Deploy and maintain configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible, or Chef) for infrastructure as code (IaC).
✅ Monitoring & Logging: Set up and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
✅ Security & Compliance: Ensure security best practices in DevOps workflows, including vulnerability scanning and compliance adherence.
✅ Performance Optimization: Improve system reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
✅ Collaboration: Work with developers, QA, and IT teams to streamline workflows and troubleshoot issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
🔹 Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, CircleCI).
🔹 Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
🔹 Experience with containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
🔹 Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible).
🔹 Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana).
🔹 Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, or PowerShell).
🔹 Strong understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
🔹 Experience with Git version control and branching strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
✔️ Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD).
✔️ Experience with serverless computing and microservices.
✔️ Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
